Trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation

Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostics, P.A. is a private group practice of 25 physicians who are board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Our mission is to provide high-quality, cost-effective, and compassionate care that restores function, relieves pain, and helps each patient achieve the highest possible level of independence and quality of life. We are proud to offer individualized treatment plans designed to meet each patient’s unique medical, physical, and functional needs.

Established in 1958, our practice is THE oldest PM&R physician groups in Hillsborough County. For more than 60 years, we have proudly served the Tampa Bay community, building a legacy of excellence in rehabilitation medicine through clinical expertise, innovation, and patient-centered care.

    Physiatrists emphasize prevention, diagnosis and treatment of patients who experience limitations in function resulting from any disease process, injury or symptom.

    The goal is to restore optimal medical, social, emotional and vocational function. Our physiatrists have the ability to understand your unique health needs and provide non-surgical methods to decrease pain and improve function related to musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions.     Meet Lynn Jean-Baptiste

    Lynn is a board-certified nurse practitioner who joined Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostics (R&E) in April 2026. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from South University in 2025 and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at South University in 2019, after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida in 2015.

    Meet Mary-Kathryn Berry

    Kate is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) with over 15 years of experience across ICU, trauma, acute rehabilitation, LTACH, and medical-surgical settings, including 10 years in acute rehabilitation. Her rehabilitation experience includes Encompass Rehabilitation, Bayfront Rehabilitation, and helping open the Kindred St. Petersburg Acute Rehabilitation Unit.

    She works alongside Dr. Benjamin Cooper, Medical Director of Rehabilitation Services at HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL and previously collaborated with Dr. Nuñez at Kindred Acute Rehabilitation.
